Fiordland Community Board pushes on with Te Anau subdivision
The Fiordland Community Board is seeking to increase the housing density of its proposed subdivision as it tries to future-proof Te Anau.
Board chair Sarah Greaney said despite economic uncertainty with the Covid-19 pandemic, the community wanted to be well-placed for the future.
The community board had a brief to provide affordable, mixed stock houses, green spaces and the possibility for social and emergency housing, she said.
Government housing programme dashboard updated - September 2020
The September 2020 update to the Housing Dashboard is now available that shows the progress of key parts of the Government’s housing programme.
The purpose of the dashboard is to demonstrate what people are experiencing by tracking how many families have bought their first home, how many households are in public housing, and how many new homes are being built.
