Affordable housing in Petone and Island Bay sells before it even hits the market

Could prefab housing help provide affordable homes? Solution Street thinks so

A Kiwi company believes it has an innovative solution to help south Aucklanders get onto the property ladder.

Solution Street is building 10 prefabricated homes on a section in View Rd, Māngere, which should be finished by September this year.

The two-storey, timber townhouses are 70 square metres each, contain two bedrooms and one bathroom, and are being sold for prices starting at $519,000.
