Christchurch mall owner developing large shopping complex in Rolleston

An $85 million shopping centre at Rolleston with new eateries, a cinema and a farmers market is set to further boost the rapidly growing town on Christchurch's doorstep.

The new development will be built over five years on a corner of the old domain on Tennyson St.

It will form part of a new town centre long planned by the Selwyn District Council to boost amenities in Rolleston, about 25 kilometres southwest of Christchurch's central city.
